The Aurora University women's soccer team lost a close 1-0 game to Webster University on Sunday afternoon at Spartan Athletic Park.

- The Gorlocks scored the first and only goal of the game early in the 5th minute of the match. 
- AU's goalie Leila Connor kept the Spartans in it with eight miraculous saves in the first half. 
- In the 54th minute, Connor's game would be over as she received a red card, and Melina Cane would come in to replace her. 
- Cane would come in right where Leila Connor left off, having four great saves of her own. 
- That would prove to not be enough, as the Spartan offense couldn't get a goal of their own, ending the game 1-0 Webster.
