The Aurora University women's volleyball team took on Elmhurst University in their second game of the Elmhurst Invitational. The Spartans won the battle in five sets to start 2-0 in the tournament heading into the final day.

- A kill from Alissa Hulst midway through the opening set propelled AU to a 25-22 opening set win.
- Katelyn Ruse led all attackers with six kills.
- Despite out hitting Elmhurst in the second set, AU fell 25-22 to have the match tied 1-1.
- The Spartans trailed by three at 19-16 but worked to overcome the deficit and won the third set 25-20.
- Three kills from Riley Moreno and two from Hulst in the closing points of the set were enough to lift AU.
- AU jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the fourth set but the home team managed to over take AU's lead and won the fourth set 25-22.
- The Spartans would work their way to victory in the fifth set, winning 16-14.
- The Spartans won the match 3-2.
