The Aurora University Women's cross country team placed sixth today at the Gil Dodds Invitational hosted by Wheaton College. They scored 191 points. University of Chicago won the meet with 17 points.
N'Dya Fields was Aurora's top finisher in 13th place. She ran a personal best time of 22:57.0.
Mika Fields was next across the line, finishing in 23:50.1 for 34th place.
The third Spartan finisher was Alex Gonzalez in 24:38.8. She placed 57th.
Emma Jasutis then crossed for the Spartans in 24:53.2, followed closely by Mallory Arroyo in 24.54.4.
The next race for the Spartans comes on October 4th as they compete in the Brisman Lundeen Invitational. The meet is hosted by Augustana College at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, IL.
