Aurora University Athletics in conjunction with BSN Sports proudly announces the recipients of the BSN Spartan Athletes of the Week award. The honors are earned based on the student-athletes performances on their respective playing surface the previous week.

This week's honors go to AU senior women's golfer Megan Kobelt and senior men's golfer Jackson Hulsey.

Megan Kobelt, women's golf - 
Kobelt earned the honor after she finished in a tie for second in the weather shortened Midwest Region event. She fired a 73 to finish one stroke off the lead and was the lowest scoring NACC performer by two-strokes.

Jackson Hulsey, men's golf - 
Hulsey earned the honor after he won medalist honors at the 2025 Folds of Honor Challenge in a four-hole playoff finishing with a three-round score of three-under par 210 (68/75/67). AU was the only Division III school in the field with others from all other NCAA Divisions, NAIA and JUCO. With the individual win, Hulsey earns an automatic exemption into the 2025 Patriot All-America on December 27-31 at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
