Late Push Not Enough as Spartans Drop Road Contest

The Aurora University women's soccer team put together another strong defensive effort but came up short in a 1–0 road loss at Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon.

How it happened
- The first half was tightly contested, with both sides trading chances. Goalkeeper Leila Connor anchored the Spartan defense, making six saves to keep the match level. 
- Aurora generated nine total shots, with four on goal. Amara Olivas recorded two shots on target, while Chelsey Johnson two attempts, including one that struck the woodwork in the second half.
- The match's lone goal came in the 68th minute, putting Concordia Wisconsin ahead.
- Aurora pressed late, creating opportunities down the stretch, but the Spartans were unable to find the equalizer.
