Spartans Battle to 1-1 Draw at MSOE

Aurora University men's soccer earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw on the road against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday afternoon at Viets Field.

How it happened
- After a scoreless opening half, the Spartans wasted little time breaking through after the break.
- In the 48th minute, Omar Saldana found the back of the net for his first goal of the season, assisted by Yandel Reyes, to give Aurora the early second-half advantage.
- The Raiders side pulled even in the 62nd minute, and despite opportunities for both teams in the final stretch, the match ended level.
- The Spartans totaled 14 shots in the match, led by Saldana's four, while Branden Dolezal and Josue Roman chipped in three apiece.
- Goalkeeper Alex Ageladelis anchored the Spartan defense with four saves across 90 minutes.
