The Aurora University women's basketball team had a tough day shooting in a 68-63 loss at Edgewood University on Saturday. The cold Wisconsin air found its way into the Edgedome as AU shot just 26.8% from the field for the game.

- A three from Aline Anderson midway through the second gave the Spartans their first lead of the game at 25-23.
- Heading to half, AU trailed 31-30.
- The third saw the lead change hands seven different times with AU trailing by four 49-45 going to the fourth.
- Trailing 54-47, the Spartans went on a 14-2 run and led by five with 6:18 left.
- But the hot shooting for AU was quickly ice cold again as the Spartans only scored two points in the final minutes and fell 68-63.
