The Aurora University women's hockey hosted Marian University Friday afternoon in the first of two games during the weekend. A late Ellie Krueger goal to tie the game in the third period would eventually send it to overtime. A Sabre overtime goal would seal the game as the Spartans fell, 2-1 in OT.

- A back and forth battle in the first period kept it tied at 0-0 after 20 minutes.
