The Aurora University women's hockey team bounced back on Saturday night with a dominant performance against Marian University. A four-goal third period, highlighted by a Jillian Bilsborough hat trick, powered the Spartans to a 6–0 shutout victory.

- A back-and-forth opening period remained scoreless until late in the frame.
- Jillian Bilsborough broke through in the 14th minute with a power-play goal, assisted by Reilly O'Brien and Courtney Docktor.
- AU carried a 1–0 lead into the second period.
- Ellie Krueger doubled the Spartans advantage late in the second, scoring an even-strength goal with assists from Emiliana Cassillo and Keilana Schmidt. 
- The Spartans led 2–0 heading into the third period.
- Bilsborough struck again early in the third on the power play, making it 3–0.
- Cassillo followed with an even-strength goal in the 18th minute to push the lead to 4–0.
- Abbey Mazzella added another goal just over a minute later, extending the margin to 5–0.
- With Marian pressing late, Bilsborough completed the hat trick with a short-handed, empty-net goal.
- AU would go on to earn the 6–0 shutout victory.
- Spartan goalie Macy Blooming recorded 19 saves in the shutout performance.
