Aurora University sophomore guard Krystyna Manzanarez was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Manzanarez earned the honor after she led AU to an 83-59 road win over North Central (Ill.). She finished with a game-high 34 points on 70 percent (14-of-20) shooting from the field, connecting on four of eight 3-pointers while going 2-for-3 at the free-throw line. Manzanarez also added six steals, three assists and two rebounds in the winning effort.

On the season, Manzanarez is averaging 14.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.6 assists per game.

Next action for the Spartan women's basketball team comes on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 when they host Illinois Institute of Technology. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. in Thornton Gymnasium.
