The Aurora University women's hockey team defeated Dubuque 4-3 to open the final regular season series. Four different Spartans put the puck to the back of the net in the win.

- The Spartans struck first in the contest when Payton Dykstra scored with an assist from Ellie Krueger in the 11th minute.
- Just one minute later AU scored again, this time it was Reilly O'Brien with help from Abbey Mazzella to put the Spartans up 2-0.
- Then, halfway through the second period, Dubuque scored one of their own to bring the game within one score.
- Only 30 seconds later, AU's Emiliana Cassillo answered back when she stole the puck, broke away, and scored unassisted.
- Dubuque would score again soon after, bringing the score to 3-2 AU.
- AU led 3-2 going into the final 20 minutes of play.
- In the fourth minute of the third period, Courtney Docktor put one to the back of the net with help from Ellie Krueger. AU's lead was now 4-2.
- Dubuque would score again midway through the final period, but that would their last.
- AU went on to win 4-3 over Dubuque.
