The Aurora University women's hockey team headed north to take on Concordia University Wisconsin in the first round of the NCHA playoffs. AU led 2-1 through most of the second period before the Falcons scored two late goals. The Spartans would fall 3-2 in game one of round one of the conference playoffs.

- The Falcons struck first with a third minute goal to go up 1-0.
- AU responded in the final minute of the period when Jenna Hassell scored her second goal of the year with assists from Reilly O'Brien and Abbey Mazzella.
- The contest was tied at one goal a piece going into the second period.
- AU's Teagan Moffat also scored her second of the season to put the Spartans on top 2-1 with help from Samira Schmidt and Jillian Bilsborough in the third minute of period number two.
- In the final seconds of the period, CUW would score again to tie the game at two headed into the final period of play.
- The score would remain tied at two until with four minutes remaining, the Falcons would score what would end up being the game winning goal.
- AU fought hard in the final minutes of the contest but weren't able to tie the game.
- AU would fall 3-2 in the first game of the NCHA playoff's round one.
