The Aurora University men's hockey team wrapped up the first round of the Harris Cup Saturday afternoon. The Spartans took game two from the Raiders with almost as much ease as the night before. Six different Spartans put the puck to the back of the net in route to a 6-2 victory.

RECORDS: #4 Aurora University 22-4-1 overall and 13-4-1 NCHA; Milwaukee School of Engineering 10-14-3 overall and 7-8-3 NCHA.

- The Spartans came out of the locker room firing, as just 14 seconds after puck drop, Andrew Schultz put the puck to the back of the net. His first goal of the year with assists from Chayce Schmidt and Lukas Sedlacek.
- MSOE answered back with one of their own on a short-handed goal midway through the period, tying the game at one goal piece.
- Then in the 12th minute Spartan Captain Juliano Santalucia scored with help from Landry Schmuck to put AU back on top.
- AU led 2-1 are one period of play.
- Again midway through the period, the Raiders tied it up, this time at 2-2.
- Spartan Jacob Brockman scored one minute later with Ryder Many Grey Horses and Jaden Davis on the assist.
- Brockman's goal would prove to be the game winner as AU went up 3-2.
- With three minutes remaining in the second period, Sedlacek joined the scoring brigade with an assist from Santalucia.
- The Spartan lead would rest at 4-2 for the rest of the period.
- Schmuck would score early on in the final period with assists from Davis and Simon Diaz.
- AU's 14th and final goal of this dominant weekend came from Jakson Kirk when he scored on the power-play with help from Sanatalucia and Hassan Akl.
- The Spartans would defeat the Raiders 6-2 and advance to round two of the Harris Cup.
