Aurora University Spartans Asher Deputy and Griffin Joas were named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. 

Defense --- Asher Deputy, Goalie
Deputy earned the weekly honor after he led Aurora to a 15-14 win at Illinois Wesleyan, snapping Aurora's nine-game losing streak against the TItans. He finished the day with 16 saves while adding eight ground balls.

Offense --- Griffin Joas, Attack
Joas earned the weekly honor after he led Aurora to a 15-14 win at Illinois Wesleyan, snapping a nine-game losing streak against the Titans. Joas had seven points on the day, scoring four goals and assisting on three more. He also had two ground-ball pickups in the winning effort.

Next action for the Spartan men's lacrosse team comes on Saturday, February 28 when they travel to Elmhurst University. Opening face-off is slated for 1:00 p.m. in Elmhurst, Illinois.
