The Aurora University women's basketball took on Edgewood University in the first round of the NACC tournament Wednesday evening. The Spartans cleared the Eagles with all five Spartan starters with double-digit point totals. AU defeated Edgewood 81-70, and flies onto the second round of the NACC tournament.

- AU came out hot to start the game as Dani Antione and Riley Doggett connected on two consecutive three-pointers.
- The Spartans were four of five from beyond the arc in the first three minutes of game time, as Kylie Fischbach and Krystyna Manzanarez collected two of their own. 
- AU now led 12-7
- A close remainder of the quarter saw Edgewood claw back to get a 22-20 lead with 1:22 left on the clock.
- Another Fischbach three-pointer put the Spartans in front, 23-22. The Spartans would hold onto the lead for the rest of the game.
- The Spartans led 25-24 after one quarter of play.
- Midway through the second quarter, AU began to pull away. 
- An 11-3 AU run was capped off by an Alina Anderson layup to put them up 41-33. 
- AU would close out the first half with a Fischbach pull-up jump shot, her Spartan-leading 15th point of the night.
- The Spartans led 53-39 at half.
- AU would continue to hold their lead for the remainder of the game.
- Eventually peaking at 22 points with an Anderson three-point basket midway through the fourth quarter.
- The Spartans would take down Edgewood 81-70 in the first round of the NACC tournament.
