The Aurora University women's lacrosse team battled throughout its home opener on Saturday afternoon but ultimately fell to Carroll University, 14–4, at Spartan Athletic Park.

- Carroll opened the scoring midway through the first quarter and added a second goal later in the frame to take an early 2–0 lead.
- The Pioneers extended their advantage early in the second quarter, heading into halftime with a 3–0 edge.
- Aurora broke through early in the third quarter as Victoria Morales scored the Spartans first goal of the afternoon, assisted by Amelia Bell.
- Carroll responded with back-to-back goals before Ava Courtney answered for AU with a finish off a feed from McKenzie Wilson.
- Courtney added a man-up goal later in the period, while McKenzie Wilson capped the quarter with an unassisted score as Aurora pulled within 9–4.
- Despite the third-quarter push, Carroll maintained control of possession and momentum, scoring six goals in the period.
- The Pioneers added five unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to secure the 14–4 decision.
- Courtney led the Spartans with two goals, while Morales and Wilson each added one.
