The Aurora University women's hockey team knocked off the Raiders of Milwaukee School of Engineering 4-0 in the series opener in Milwaukee on Friday night.

- Midway through the second and a minute into a penalty kill the Spartans lit the lamp.
- Cara Cook scored short-handed for a 1-0 AU lead.
- AU led 1-0 going to the third period.
- The Spartans struck on the power play early in the third to take a 2-0 lead.
- Samira Schmidt scored with the extra skater with an assist from Teagan Moffat.
- At 13:09 of the third the Spartans struck again.Â
- Ellie Krueger scored and was assisted by Courtney Docktor and Jenna Hassell for a 3-0 lead.
- Just under two minutes later the Spartans scored again.Â
- Cook scored her second on the night, unassisted for the 4-0 win.
- Macy Blooming stopped all 20 shots sent her way for the shutout victory, her fourth of the season.
