The Aurora University baseball team played in a 7-inning double header against Mississippi University of Women on Friday, and came away with two wins over the Owls. Game one saw AU get on top early and stay ahead to win 6-3. Game two displayed a good balance of pitching and hitting with the Spartans winning 10-1.

Game One:
- Joe Lukancic put the Spartans on top early with a RBI single in the second to score Matthew Washington.
- Directly after that, Zack Tarrant hit a two-RBI single of his own to score Alex Panico and Lukancic.
- The Owls put up two runs in the third to cut down the AU lead to 3-2.
- AU scored three runs in the fourth to take a 6-2 lead.
- Tyler Patton got the ball rolling when he hit a SAC-Fly to right field, scoring Lukancic.
- Ryan Buck then doubled in Tarrant and Kyle Mack to complete the three run inning.
- MUW scored one last run in the bottom of the fourth, but it would ultimately be for nothing.
- The Spartans would take down the Owls 6-3 in game one.

Game Two
- Scoring first were the Spartans again in game two, this time coming off the bat of Senior Ryan Buck, who blasted a home run over the right center wall to give AU the early 1-0 lead.
- Now jumping to the fifth inning, where MUW would score their one and only run of the game.
- In the bottom half of the inning, AU got the offense going again.
- Sophomore shortstop Matthew Washington would lead off the fifth with a walk for the Spartans.
- Isaac Wendler would later single up the middle allowing Washington to come around and score.
- Lukancic would follow Wendler with a double to put both of them in scoring position.
- The Owls changed pitchers hoping to limit the Spartan offense.
- Tarrant would say thank you for the runners on base and hit a two RBI double to build AU's lead to now 4-1.
- Jaden Holgado would come to the plate as the ninth Spartan batter of the inning, walking with the bases loaded and collecting an RBI in the process.
- The sixth inning would be just as kind to the Spartan offense, even after another Owl pitching change.
- Isaac Goddard singled to lead off the inning.
- A Lukancic single later on would bring Goddard, AU now leading 6-1.
- An error by the Owls allowed an extra Spartan to be on the base paths.
- Patton used that to his advantage smacking his ninth double of the season to score Lukancic and Tarrant.
- Pinch hitter Alex Panico used his opportunity to double in Mack who singled early in the inning.
- Following Panico's hit would be Holgado who subsequently singled in Panico for the final Spartan run of the ballgame.
- The Spartans took game two 10-1 to sweep the Owls on the day.
