Spartans return to Midwest with win at CUW

The Aurora University men's volleyball team returned back to the Midwest with a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference trip to Concordia University Wisconsin. AU had some early jet lag but rebounded and defeated the Falcons 3-1.

How it happened
- The Spartans led early in the opening set but saw the lead dwindle. AU would fall 26-24 in the first set.
- AU fell despite out-hitting CUW and were led by five kills from Solomon Dail.
- The largest lead of the second set was just four points, several of which were held by the Spartans.
- AU would tie the match with a 25-22 second set victory.
- Josh McLellan led the AU attack with five kills while Dail added four more
- After trailing early in the third set the Spartans battled back and a kill from McLellan gave AU the final lead change of the game at 22-21.
- AU would win 25-23 and lead the match 2-1.
- The fourth set saw AU take advantage of many Falcon errors and win 25-20 and clinch the match 3-1.
- McLellan had seven kills and a perfect 1.000 attack in the fourth set win.
