Aurora University Athletics in conjunction with BSN Sports proudly announces the recipients of the BSN Spartan Athletes of the Week award. The honors are earned based on the student-athletes performances on their respective playing surface the previous week.

This week's honors go to AU student-athletes, junior Cullen Rauls of men's basketball and junior Jakson Kirk of men's hockey.

Cullen Rauls, men's basketball - 
Rauls earned the honor after he was named the MVP of the 2025-2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament and a member of the All-Tournament Team. Over the three games, Rauls averaged 20.7 points with 2.67 assists and 2.33 steals per game. He helped AU to the NACC tournament title in a 67-66 win over Marian.

Jakson Kirk, men's hockey - 
Kirk earned the honor after he collected a hat trick as he helped AU to a 6-2 win over Adrian College in the NCHA Harris Cup semi-final round. He scored three straight goals for AU in the first and second periods with his second goal eventually being the game-winning goal.
