The Aurora University women's lacrosse team hung tough in the first-half with the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse but a slow offensive start to the second-half was not enough for the Spartans to overcome as they fell to the visitors 15-7.

- The Spartans fell behind 3-0 early in the first quarter but responded with a pair of goals.
- Ava Courtney scored with an extra attacker on an assist from McKenzie Wilson to get the Spartans on the scoreboard.
- With 1:24 left in the first, Nicolina Smith scored as AU trailed 3-2.
- AU went down 5-2 in the second with UWL scoring on a pair of free position goals.
- Wilson would score midway through the second.
- A few minutes later, Smith scored with an extra attacked again to bring AU to down one at 5-4.
- AU goalie Meghan Ginty had five first-half saves as AU went to half down 5-4.
- UWL scored six goals in the third and three more in the fourth to take a 14-4 lead.
- The Spartans did not lay down though as they responded with three goals to cut the deficit in half.
- Scoring for AU was Ava Courtney, Eva Taute and Nicolina Smith.
- AU would drop the contest by a final of 15-7.
