The Aurora University women's lacrosse team opened up Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action on Wednesday afternoon at Spartan Athletic Park against Concordia University Wisconsin. AU got off to a fast start and rolled to a 17-4 victory.

Nicolina Smith got the Spartans scoring started 1:53 into the contest with an assist from
Eva Taute.
- After CUW tied the contest, the Spartans scored four times in the first quarter and three more times in the second to lead 8-1.

Ava Courtney scored four times in the 7-0 run with goals also coming from Taute, Smith and
Amelia Bell.
- Smith and Courtney added goals in the final minutes of the second to send AU to halftime up 10-2.
- Bell and Courtney came out strong to start the third, each scoring two more goals, and AU led 14-2 with the running clock enacted.
- Smith scored the final three AU tallies of the game as the Spartans ran away from the Falcons and won 17-4.
