Spartans extend win streak to eight with win at Lawrence

The Aurora University men's lacrosse team won their eighth consecutive game with an 18-6 victory at Lawrence University on Friday evening.

How it happened
- For the second straight game, Tyler Foerstel got AU rolling early as he scored the first two for a 2-0 AU lead.
- Dylan Kranzush scored to put AU ahead 3-0 with Foerstel adding an assist.
- Eli Etzler and a pair of goals from Owen Spencer put the Spartans up 6-1 after one quarter.
- The Spartans opened up the game in the second quarter, out-scoring Lawrence 7-1.
- Six different Spartans scored in the quarter with two from Chris Bucci.
- AU went to halftime leading 13-2.
- Travis Weischadle and Nolan Hartman scored midway through the third to push the lead to 15-3.
- Just before the end of the third, goalie Zach Fuzy scored a goalie goal. Firing a shot from deep in AU's end, finding the back of the Lawrence net.
- AU led 16-5 after the goal.
- Owen Meyer and Thomas Super scored in the fourth as AU coasted to the 18-6 victory.
