Aurora University women's lacrosse student-athlete Nicolina Smith was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. 

Smith earned the honor after she scored 14 goals while leading Aurora to road victories over Illinois Tech (19-3) and Lawrence (17-0). She had six goals on nine shots with a ground ball in the win at Illinois Tech, then added eight goals and a ground ball in the win at Lawrence.

Next action for the Spartan women's lacrosse team comes on Wednesday, April 15 when they host Lake Forest College. Opening draw is slated for 4:00 p.m. At Spartan Athletic Park In Montgomery, Illinois.
