The Aurora University women's lacrosse team returned home and took on a top foe in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The contest was a battle bewteen the Spartans and Lake Forest with the visitors edging out AU 11-9.

- After trialing 2-0 early the Spartans rallied to tie the score 2-2 late in the first.
- Ruby Peck and Ava Courtney scored for the Spartans to tie the game.
- Heading to the second, AU trailed 3-2.
- Early in the second, Peck scored with a man-up to tie the game again 3-3.
- Julie Sass scored with just over a minute remaining in the first-half to bring the Spartans to within on at 5-4.
- 3:03 into the third, Amelia Bell scored to again tie the contest at 5-5.
- Trailing 7-5, Nicolina Smith scored an unassisted tally to keep the Spartans within one at 7-6.
- In the final 2:42 of the third, Peck scored her third of the game and Alli Holsey scored to again tie the contest at 8-8.
- Lake Forest scored two goals in the fourth to take a 10-8 lead.
- With 4:57 left in the game, Tori Morales scored to pull AU to within one at 10-9.
- AU would hit the cross bar or pipe twice in the final minutes and trail 10-9 still.
- LFC scored a final goal with 22 seconds left as AU went with an empty net to attempt to force one last turnover.
- The Spartans fell by the final score of 11-9.
