The Aurora University softball team swept a NACC doubleheader against the Rockford University Regents. Taking game one 9-6 and game two 9-0, the Spartans owned the day.

Record: Aurora University 18-10 overall and 10-4 NACC, Rockford University 14-18 overall and 8-12 NACC

Game One
- Rockford hopped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first.
- Then the Spartans started their day with a second inning two-RBI single from Alyssa Gale.
- Rockford tacked on two more runs in the third.
- The rest of the day would be owned by the Spartans, scoring five runs in the third to take a 7-3 lead.
- The Regents collected two more in the fourth.
- And one run in both the fourth and sixth innings for AU brought the lead to now 9-5.
- Rockford added one final run in the seventh but it wouldn't be enough.
- AU take game one 9-6.

Game Two
- Game two was owned solely by the Spartans.
- Aubrey Ortiz hit a single to third, and a Regent error allowed Mia Rivera to come around to score.
- It was then Nina Richards who put the ball in play to score Ortiz.
- Alyssa Gale singled in Lily Komperda in the third.
- AU now leads 3-0.
- A monster fourth put AU up big, starting with a Richards single to score Rivera, then a Stephanie DeBise double to score Ortiz.
- Angie Delgado then doubled in DeBise, and Komperda followed that with a double of her own to score the pinch-running Erin Young.
- Kayla Korey singled in Komperda for the final run of the ball game.
- AU win game two to complete the sweep 9-0 in five innings.
