The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2026 Men's Volleyball All-American teams today. AU junior outside hitter SJ Nelson earned Third-Team All-American honors for his on court performances throughout the season.

Nelson earned AVCA All-American honor just one week after being named AVCA All-Region and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First-Team All-Conference. Nelson led AU with 3.43 kills per set and a .236 attack percentage. He has collected 2.23 digs and 0.66 blocks per set for the Spartans.

AU concluded the 2026 season with a 20-7 overall record and went 10-2 in the NACC.
