The Aurora University baseball team took on the Edgewood University Eagles, Saturday afternoon. Making the drive up north didn't effect the Spartans as they brought home two wins, winning game one 10-3, and game two 13-9.

Game One:
- Edgewood score first as they grabbed one run in the first.
- AU responded in the top of the second when Isaac Wendler singled in the other Isaac, Isaac Goddard.
- Then in the third Nick Czarnecki doubled to left-center bringing in Kyle Mack.
- The Eagles tied it in the fourth, now 2-2.
- The sixth inning was friendly to AU as they tacked on another four runs in the inning, now 6-2.
- Edgewood scored once more in the sixth making it 6-3.
- Ryan Buck had an RBI-single in the eighth scoring Jaden Holgado.
- AU scored again in the eighth and then in the ninth Holgado was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, and then Tyler Patton hit a SAC fly to make it 10-3.
- The Spartans took game one with ease, winning 10-3.
Game Two
- The Eagles had continuity as they scored first in the in first inning to make it 1-0.
- AU added five runs in the second starting of with a Matthew Washington single to score Buck.
- Zack Tarrant closed out the big inning with a RBI-single to score Washington.
- Goddard scored on a wild pitch in the third to start off another big inning for the Spartans.
- Mack then singled in Lukancic to cap off the inning to make it 9-1Â Spartans.
- Edgewood scored once in the fourth and twice in the fifth to make it 9-4.
- The Spartans tacked on three more in the seventh to take an eight-run lead.
- The Eagles scored five times during the seventh and eighth innings to narrow the Spartan lead.
- Wendler doubled in the ninth and eventually scored on an Eagle wild pitch to score AU's thirteenth run of the ballgame.
- The Spartans came home with the sweep after getting the 13-9 win in game two.
