The Aurora University softball program swept a non-conference doubleheader against Elmhurst University on Sunday afternoon, opening the day with a 5-4 victory before securing the sweep with a 9-6 win in game two.

Game One
- AU fell behind 1-0 in the third inning.
- The Spartans answered back in a big way in their next at bat.
- With one out, Angie Delgado got the rally rolling with a single and scored on a Lily Komperda home run.
- Three consecutive singles followed before Mia Rivera doubled to score a pair.
- AU would lead 5-1 going to the bottom of the fourth.
- The game remained 5-1 Spartans until the bottom of the seventh.
- After two quick outs, Elmhurst pieced together four hits and a walk to bring the score to 5-4 with two runners on.
- Mia Rivera got the final out to save the win for Emma Way.

Game Two
- The AU offense got started quickly with three singles to start the game from Rivera, Aubrey Ortiz and Delgado.
- AU led 2-0 after one-half inning.
- Elmhurst tied the game in the first at 2-2.
- The Spartans blew open the game in the third with a four spot.
- Nina Richards and Tristin Woods double while Mia Malczyk hit a three-run home run for a 6-2 lead.
- In the fifth the Spartans added to their lead with three more runs.
- Two singles and a BlueJay error allowed the Spartans to go ahead 9-3.
- Elmhurst answered in the bottom of the inning with a three-run home run but AU led 9-6.
- The game would remain 9-6 and an AU victory.
