The Aurora University baseball team and specifically the offense was on fire Wednesday afternoon, hitting nine balls over the fence in a NACC double header with the Concordia University Chicago Cougars. AU's 29 run day was aided by 11 Tyler Patton runs batted in as he managed three three-run home runs and two doubles over the course of the day. AU won 14-3 in game one, and kept the hunting going as they won 15-4 in game two.

Game One:
- The Spartans got out to a large early lead, beginning with a Kyle Mack SAC fly to score the first run of the game.
- Tyler Patton then smacked a double to left field to collect his first extra-base hit and RBI of the day.
- In total AU score three runs during the first inning.
- Back at it again in the second were the Spartans, adding another five runs to their lead.
- Jaden Holgado lit a ball up as he launched a solo home run to start the inning.
- Patton capped off the big inning with his first home run of the day, a towering blast that scored Mack and Matthew Washington.
- CUC scored once in the third, but Patton sent another ball in the inferno in the bottom of the inning, scoring Joe Lukancic and Washington.
- AU's lead was now 11-1 after only three innings of play.
- The Cougars collected another run in the fourth to take away the potential run-rule scenario in the later innings.
- Holgado would have none of that, as he connected with his second homer of the game putting AU's lead back to ten runs.
- Washington immediately followed with a blast of his own, the first of his AU career.
- CUC scored their final run of the ballgame in the fifth.
- Washington doubled in the sixth to score Isaac Goddard, that would prove to be this final run of the game.
- AU took game one 14-3.
Game Two.
- It was Mack once again who got the ball rolling as he put the ball in play scoring Lukancic for the first run of the game.
- Patton later doubled to bring Mack all the way around, scoring from first base.
- Ryan Buck wanted in on the fire sale as he smacked a two-RBI home run later in the inning.
- Then it was Washington doubling in Holgado and Czarnecki to cap off the monster first inning for the Spartans.
- AU led 5-0 after one inning.
- Patton came back up in the second, and he sent yet another ball over the fence for his third of the day, this one scoring Mack and Tarrant.
- After two innings it was AU on top 8-0.
- CUC tacked on three runs over the next two innings bringing the Spartan lead down to just 8-3.
- Lukancic his a bases-loaded single to score Goddard in the fifth.
- Then Tarrant put a tail of fire behind a baseball, mashing a grand slam to put AU up by 10.
- Nick Czarnecki set a ball ablaze with a homer in the sixth.
- The Cougars tallied one more measly run in the seventh, but wasn't enough.
- Spartans starter Edgar Barba collected his tenth and eleventh strikeouts of the game to put the Cougars down.
- The Spartans took home the win and completed the conference series sweep in game two, winning 15-4.
