Aurora University senior Jackson Hulsey has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. The honor is the fourth of the season for Hulsey.

Hulsey earned the honor after he tied for 11th place overall in the 41-team, 255-golfer Illinois Wesleyan University Spring Invitational with a 145 total. He fired an opening-round 2-over 74 on the par-72, 6,940-yard layout at Ironwood Golf Course, then shot an even-par 71 on the 6,848-yard layout at Weibring Golf Club. Aurora (595) finished in a tie for third place behind perennial regional heavyweights Illinois Wesleyan (578) and Nebraska Wesleyan (592).

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Sunday, April 12 and Monday, April 13 when they travel to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Morningstar Masters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
