Spartans Battle to Doubleheader Split at CUW

The Aurora University softball team split its doubleheader at Concordia University Wisconsin on Wednesday, falling 4-2 in game one before bouncing back with a 3-2 comeback victory in game two behind a late seventh-inning rally.

- Rivera doubled and came around to score on a Nina Richards RBI ground out.
- The Spartans held the lead until the sixth inning when CUW rallied.
- A combination of timely hits and execution plated three runs to give the Falcons a 4-2 advantage.
- AU threatened in the seventh inning with traffic on the bases but couldn't break through.
- The Spartans finished with seven hits and showed patience at the plate with seven walks.
- Way tossed a complete game in the circle, allowing four runs on six hits.
