The Aurora Unviersity Baseball team took on the host team Centre College Colonels in an elimination game match-up. The Spartans got on top early and had to fight to keep the lead, eventually winning after an Isaac Goddard ninth inning grand slam by a final score of 10-6.

- AU hopped out to an early 1-0 lead after Joe Lukancic got on with a lead off single, later coming around to score curtesy of Zack Tarrant.
- Kyle Mack reached first on a Colonel error allowing Isaac Wendler to score.
- Centre tallied a run in the bottom of the inning, making it 2-1.
- Tarrant doubled in Lukancic in the fifth, then in the seventh, Tyler Patton singled in Wendler.
