Aurora University baseball designated hitter Zack Tarrant was recognized for his combined efforts in the classroom and on the field when the College Sports Communicators (CSC - formerly CoSIDA) announced the members of the 2026 Baseball Academic All-America teams. 

The CSC Academic All-America® honor is chosen based off the student-athletes combined prowess on the field and in the classroom is the latest achievement. 

The Academic All-America honor for Tarrant adds to his 2026 season in which he was previously named a D3baseball.com All-Region selection and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First-Team All-Conference.

Tarrant hit .390 with 14 doubles, four home runs, 54 runs batted and 49 runs scored while having a .549 slugging and .492 on-base.. 

AU finished the 2026 season with a 32-14 overall record and won the NACC regular season and tournament championships.
