Aurora University junior setter Trinity Nelson was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Volleyball Offensive Student-Athletes of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Nelson earned the honor after she led Aurora to a 3-0 week with wins over North Park (3-0), Central (3-2), and Saint Mary's (Ind.) (3-0). She finished the week with 119 assists, averaging 10.82 per set. Nelson posted at 32 assists in each of the three matches, including a high of 54 in the five-set win over Central.

Next action for the Spartan women's volleyball team comes Wednesday, September 23 when they travel to Illinois Institute of Technology. Opening serve is set for 7:00 p.m. in Chicago, Illinois.
