The Aurora University women's volleyball team continued their strong early season play on Tuesday night, defeating the visiting Cardinals of North Central College in three sets.

Izabella Kowalczyk hammered a kill that propelled the Spartans to a lead and eventually a 25-15 win.
- The Kowalczyk kill started an 8-0 AU run that secured the set for the Spartans.
- Seven different Spartans collected a kill in the opening set with Kowalczyk and
Rosie Karl each having three.
- The second set was much closer with the Spartans never trailing until at 23-22.
- AU would secure four of the final five set points and win 26-24.

Trinity Nelson had 11 assists in the set with Karl dropping down five kills.
- Just like the first set, the score was tied 8-8 but this time Karl connected on the kill to give AU the final lead of the set and start a 12-3 run.
- AU would go on to win 25-15 and win the match 3-0.
