member of the track and field team.

High School: Attended Sandwich High School. Participated in four years of varsity cross country under Coach Pax. She was named Most Improved as a freshman, sophomore and senior in cross country and was given the Sportsmanship Award in track as a senior.

Personal: Born 4/15/88 in Ballwin, MO.

Family: Bill and Peggy Shopinski. She has one brother, Justin.

Major: Elementary Education.
