Biography

2013: As a member of the track and field team, he was selected as a 2012-2013 NACC Scholar Athlete.

2012: As a member of the cross country and track and field team, he was selected as a 2011-2012 NAC Scholar Athlete.

2011: Attended Aurora University and was a member of the cross country team. He was named first team All Northern Athletics Conference and a 2010-2011 NAC Scholar Athlete.

2010: Attended Waubonsee Community College and was a member of the cross country team. He placed second in regionals and was named Academic All-Conferece.

High School: Attended Batavia Senior High School where he participated in three years of varsity cross country under Coach DiDomenico, he was named Academic All-Conference junior year. He also participated in three years of varsity track and field under Coach Wheaten.

Personal: Born on 08/03/90 in Aurora, Ill.

Family: Carol and Don Schmitt. He has three brothers, David, Danny and Derek and one sister, Diana.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, bow hunting, dogs, driving, camping and the outdoors.

Major: Biology.                       Minor: Religion.
