Prior to the first competition each year, student-athletes will be required to sign a single form regarding NCAA regulations and policies. Within this document is the Student-Athlete Statement, which has four components: a statement concerning eligibility, which affirms that, to the best of your knowledge, you are eligible to compete in intercollegiate competition; a Buckley Amendment consent, which means you agree to disclose your educational records; permission to use your picture to promote NCAA events; and affirmation that you have not tested positive for a banned substance by the NCAA or a non-NCAA national or international athletics organization and you are aware of the NCAA championship drug testing program.
