What is your favorite sports moment at AU?
Winning my first collegiate start 1-0 in 8 innings my freshman year. Also, being woken up early in the morning by Alana Weitzenfeld breaking into my house and jumping on my bed saying we got a bid to go to regionals my sophomore year. The whole experience at regionals was awesome.

What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?
Being an All-America Scholar Athlete

Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?
I knew I would be able to balance softball with school and it was close enough for my biggest fans to come watch (my dad and grandpa).

Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?
Desmond Mason because seeing as though I am the biggest fan of the Milwaukee Bucks, I had to like someone after they traded Ray Allen in 2003 and it wasn't going to be Michael Redd.

What is your favorite class and why?
Any psychology class- learning about the influence that events in the past have on actions in the present day is so interesting. It's fun to understand why people behave the way they do.

Who is your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Miller because I love how she always includes time to collaborate in each class instead of just lecturing the entire time. Also, she relates the importance of physics to activities in our daily lives and is eager to help if there are any questions.

Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?
I wasn't terrible at basketball.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?
Laying on my couch while eating food that someone else made for me, fishing with my dad, and hanging out with my grandma, grandpa, and their dog Phoenix (she's part of the fam).

What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria?
Cheese ravs and the ice cream of course!

Who is your role model?
My dad will always be my biggest role model, no doubt. Also, Nicki Pieart because she is the closest thing to being a real-life superwoman.

What do you enjoy most about practice?
It's a great stress reliever. I am able to focus on just softball and not have to worry about anything else going on.

What do you like least about practice?
Anything that has running involved.

What are your plans/goals after graduation?
Go to grad school to get a Master's degree in occupational therapy and adopt a puppy!!

Do you have any pregame rituals?
Saying the national anthem and then doing a toe-touch with Vanessa Wegner afterwards.

What will you remember most from your college career?
Definitely the teammates I've had and the friends I've made during the four years here. Also, all the fun times during softball season.

As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?
Keep a positive attitude towards everything and work hard for what you want to accomplish.
