EnglishWhat is your favorite sports moment at AU?Taking second in our conference in Spring of 2015.
What is your most memorable academic experience at AU?Making the Dean’s List and maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?Honestly, it was a last minute decision. I was recruited to play lacrosse here a semester into my freshman year.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?Every single one of my teammates, they push me to be better every day.
What is your favorite class and why?Any Education class I've taken because they've given me better insight on what my future will be like in the Education field.
Who is your favorite professor and why?Probably have to go with Dr. Hipp. He's very understanding and knows that sometimes life can get in the way of things.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?I like to think I'm pretty good at running in general.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?COOKING. I'm always trying to make something new and delicious.
Who is your role model? It sounds cliche, but hands down my mother is my role model. She was a young mom who basically had to do everything on her own with little to no help. I couldn't be more proud of who she is and who she's raised me to be.
What do you enjoy most about practice?I LOVE the competition. I'm very competitive. But also watching the team progress and still have a good time as hard as some days may seem.
What do you like least about practice?THE COLD. I can deal with the rain. I'm from Seattle so that's nothing new. It's the negative 10 degrees we practice in that I cannot deal with.
What are your plans/goals after graduation?I plan on getting a Grad Assistant position somewhere closer to home, getting some coaching experience, and receiving my masters in Education.
Do you have any pregame rituals?I have to have my Gatorade, my game day head band, and some goofing around with the team in the locker room.
What will you remember most from your college career? The people I've met and who have influenced me the most.
As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?Don't rush your time here. Enjoy every moment and really cherish it for what it is. Not everyone gets an opportunity to go to college let alone playing a sport in college.
