Why did you choose to attend Aurora University?Felt I knew AU while attending Oswego East.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete and why?Muhammad Ali, I love his motivation to be great and he stood by his values.
What is your favorite class and why?Trajectories of Human Behavior. It made you think about the future and the discussions in class were great.
Who is your favorite professor and why?Dr. Mark Soderstrom, he’s a very broad thinker and engaging professor.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at?Football, baseball, and hockey.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby?Lifting weights and traveling.
Who is your role model?My parents.
What do you enjoy most about practice?Regardless if it’s track or basketball practice, I enjoy when practice gets tough. This is when you really have to push yourself beyond your normal limits. I love it!
What do you like least about practice?When you end practice on a bad note, it’s not a good feeling.
What are your plans/goals after graduation?Continuing my career in either track or basketball. Hopefully, I’ll make a decision in the near future. Beyond sports I may do the Special Forces (i.e. Marines/Navy).
Do you have any pregame rituals?I run, stretch and focus on motivational thoughts.
What will you remember most from your college career?NCAA All American run for the 400 Hurdles and NCAA Basketball first round game freshman year.
As a senior, what advice would you give to freshman at AU?Don’t act or play like a freshman (being tense and nervous).
