SITE: Northwestern Medicine XC Course (919 E Fabyan Pkwy, Batavia, IL 60510)
DATE: Saturday, September 14, 2024
RACE TIMES: Women’s 6k starts at 9:30 am. Men’s 8k starts at 10:30 am. All athletes must report to the starting line 10 minutes prior to the start for instructions.
ENTRY FEE: $250 per team/per gender payable to Aurora University. If 5 or less runners are entered per team, the individual rate of $50 per athlete can be paid. Cash or checks payable to Aurora University accepted.
PARKING AND ADMISSION:
Team Parking: Team buses can enter the Course at the Settler’s Hill Golf Course entrance on Fabyan Parkway and follow the access road up the hill to drop their teams off near the Start/Finish area. Note that the stoplight at the golf course entrance has been removed during recent road construction. For the safety of the runners, the access road will be closed to traffic 15 minutes before the first race. Late-arriving buses must go directly to the Team Bus Parking area on the north side of the Fox Valley Ice Arena, and their teams will have to walk to the Start/Finish area. After dropping their teams off, all buses
must go back down the hill and park in the Team Bus Parking area. Teams will return to their buses in this parking lot after the meet. Buses will not be allowed to return to the hill to pick up teams.
Spectator Entry: Spectators
must enter the Course via the gravel path behind the Indoor Soccer facility, which is immediately north of the Fox Valley Ice Arena. The gate nearest the Cougars’ ballpark will NOT be open. Admission is $4 for adults, $1 for students, and children under 14 are free. We accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard. Discounted electronic tickets can be purchased on-line at
www.chicagotrack.org.
Spectator Parking: Spectators can park in the Kane County Cougars’ Lots B and C. These Lots are accessible from Kirk Road; enter at the Cherry Lane stoplight near the ballpark and proceed south to Lots B and C. There is no charge for parking. The parking lot on the north side of the Ice Arena is reserved for team buses only. Do NOT use Lot A or the parking areas close to the ballpark.
Handicap Parking: There are seven handicap parking spaces close to the Start/Finish area. The entrance for handicap parking is from Fabyan Parkway; enter at the Settlers Hill Golf Course and follow the gravel road to the top of the Course. The handicap parking spots are clearly marked.
Only vehicles with a state-issued handicap parking placard will be permitted to access the Course via this road. For the safety of the athletes, this access road will be closed 15 minutes before the first race until the last race is completed. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed on the access road during the meet.

UNATTACHED: Club and Unattached athletes are welcome to compete as individuals. Only collegiate teams will be considered for team awards. There will be 1 box designated for unattached athletes. Unattached fee is $50 per person

RESULTS: Results will be posted online once available at
athletics.aurora.edu and TFRRS.
AWARDS: Plaques for the top three teams of each gender.
PACKET PICK-UP: Pick-up will occur at the Finish Line. Packets will be available upon your arrival pending payment.
TIMING: Chip technology will be utilized as the primary timing and scoring system for this meet. Results will be provided by Shazam Timing.
TOILET FACILITIES: Bathrooms are located on site.
ATHLETICS TRAINERS: Aurora University will provide certified athletic trainers for the meet. Please bring your own taping supplies. Ice and water will be provided. Contact Kelsey Sikorski (
