Aurora University Athletics

Rich Swann joined the AU coaching staff in 2007. He brings 18 years of coaching experience with him from Aurora Central Catholic. Throughout his years at Aurora Central Catholic, Swann spent his time coaching baseball, basketball, and football.

In his second season as the Spartan defensive backs coach, Swann's secondary had 21 interceptions and was led by All-American Matt Meyer, who tied the single season interception record with 10.

Swann's 2010 unit had 21 interceptions and was led by All-American Mike Langhurst, who tied the AU single season record with 10.

In the 18 years of coaching, Swann spent six years as Head Baseball Coach, 12 as an assistant baseball coach, six years as Football Defensive Coordinator and seven years as Assistant Football Coach.
