College as a Junior (’08): Attended Aurora University and was a member of the cross country team.

College as a Sophomore (’07): Attended Morton College and was a member of the cross country team.

College as a Freshman (’06): Attended Morton College and was a member of the cross country team.

High School: Attended Morton East High School. He was a two-year member of the cross country team under coaches Bill Bloom and Carlos Escobedo. He received the Sportsmanship Award as a senior. He also was a two-year member of the varsity track and field team under coaches Joe Gianneschi, Bloom and Escobedo. He was named Athlete of the Month during his senior year.

Personal: Born on 3/11/88 in Chicago.

Family: Olga Hernandez. He has one brother, Orlando, and three sisters, Maryellen, Selena and Skyy.

Hobbies: Running, video games and listening to music.

Major: Physical Education.

Minor: Coaching.
