A long time equipment manager for the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva, Illinois. Grumpy joins the Aurora University hockey staff for the 2014-2015 season.

For the last 20 years, Grumpy has been the key behind the scenes figure with numerous hockey clubs, the Chicago Freeze (NAHL), Chicago Steel (USHL), Cornell University, Chicago Hounds (UHL), Fenwick High School, Northern Illinois University (ACHA), NA3 National Championships and the Acme World Sports Camp.
