Jenee Rago became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Aurora University if April of 2021. 

Rago (Lange) returns to AU where she was a standout women's soccer player for the Spartans, graduating in 2014. Her career culminated in being named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Woman of the Year. A defender and four-year member of the Spartan women's soccer team, was the 2013 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and First-Team All-Conference and National Soccer Coaches Association of American Third-Team All-Region in her senior season. During her junior year, she was named the NACC Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-Conference and Second-Team All-Region. 

She comes to AU from Loyola University Chicago where she became a sports performance coach in August 2017 and developed and implemented the training plans for the women’s basketball, women’s soccer and softball programs.

 
Prior to her time at Loyola Chicago, she was an assistant strength coach at Saginaw Valley State University, a professional strength and conditioning intern for Olympic sports at North Carolina State University. While with the Wolfpack, she oversaw men’s and women’s golf, as well as assisted with the implementation of programs for men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, women’s tennis and track and field/cross country.
 
Before her time at NC State, Rago served a two-year stint as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Western Illinois University. While at Western Illinois, she oversaw women’s basketball, swimming/diving, men’s soccer and track and field/cross country and assisted with men’s basketball and football. Additionally, Rago completed internships at DePaul University and Aurora University.
 
Rago earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning from Western Illinois. She has a Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Health Promotion with minors in Psychology and Business from Aurora and holds certifications through NSCA (CSCS), USAW (level 1) and ISSA (Sports Nutrition).
