2015: Appeared in 22 games for the Spartans, starting all 22 of them. He recorded 49 goals, 28 assists, and 174 groundballs. He was named MLC Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-MLC, All-American Honorable Mention and Scholar All-American.

2014: Was named an All-American Honorable-Mention, along with the MLC Offensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference Honors. He appeared in all 20 games for the Spartans and started 19 of them. He recorded 60 goals, 37 assists, 219 ground balls and went 242-336 on face-offs. In the final NCAA Division III statistical rankings, he finished third in face-off winning percentage (.720), fourth in ground-balls per game (10.95), and 12th in points per game (4.85).

2013: Was named an All-American Honorable-Mention, along with the MLC Offensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference Honors. He appeared in all 20 games for the Spartans and started 19 of them. He recorded 53 goals, 32 assists, 18 caused turnovers and was seventh in the NCAA in ground balls per game with 9.85. He finished with 186 ground balls and went 220-344 on face-offs.

2012: Obriecht was named to the MLC Second-Team All-Conference team. He started all 17 games for the Spartans, recording 13 goals, 13 assists, and 116 ground balls.

High School: Graduated from Naperville High School in Naperville, Ill. in 2011.  He participated in wrestling, lacrosse, and hockey.
