College as a Sophomore (’08): Appeared in 21 games for the Spartans, starting nine. He recorded one assist.

College as a Freshman (’07): He appeared in 18 games, starting one,
and had 10 shots. He was selected as a 2007-2008 NAC Scholar Athlete.

High School: Attended East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, IL. He played two years of soccer under Coach Paul Keenan. He was named Team Captain, All-Conference, All-Sectional, All-Academic and All-Area as a senior.

Personal: Born 9/25/89 in Lima, Peru.

Family: Miguel and Rosa Gutierrez. He has one brother, Jonathan, and one sister, Alexandra.

Hobbies: Drawing.

Major: Health Science.

Minors: Chemistry, Biology and Physiology.
