Dennis Young comes to Aurora University from Dickinson College, where he was a runner from 2008-12 and an assistant coach in 2013. He will serve as an assistant coach in the men’s and women’s cross-country and track & field programs at AU.
As an athlete, Young was a member of five Centennial Conference championship teams: two in cross-country, and three in track and field. Young earned nine varsity letters and captained the cross-country team in 2012; he placed 214th in his only national championship appearance that fall. Young holds a B.A. in political science from Dickinson, and received his teaching certificate in secondary social studies.
